Google Homepage!

Hi,

I can't believe I'm the first on to mention this here but Google has changed their homepage! In the top right hand corner it now says "Personalized Home | Sign in"

Their turning it into something similar to Yahoo's Homepage.

I wonder if people are going to be using this? Good or bad move by Google?

I know that much time! Not very nice and useful in my opinion! Prefer the real google!

I've seen the "Personalized Home | Sign in" for awhile, and I find it annoying. I also don't like how Google puts ads for the toolbar or other google services on the homepage every once in awhile.

I've been using it for a while as my firefox homepage. It's very useful, have it set to get the latest new, my gmail inbox and a few RSS feeds.

Yes, this is indeed relatively old news (a few months) and signalled the entrance of G into the portal space. It remains to be seen if they will really be able to trounce MSN, Yahoo and others ... should be an interesting item to follow. I suppose you are all familiar with Microsoft Windows Live which makes heavy usage of AJAX and provides similar functionality?

had that as my homepage for about 4 months now. Dont use it at all though!
