As you know, the most common expression is the plural 'golden oldies', with over 1.2 mill Goog results; next is 'golden oldie' with over 200,000; the 'golden oldy' spelling only has around 10K goog, which shows it's not a well-known spelling, and has no Overture at all. So you're not going to get type-in traffic, and probably almost no search traffic if you just park the name. If you can find an end user who really, really, really wants to create a golden oldies site and wants this near-spelling, you might get a bit for the name. It does have a use and very clear meaning, and is based on a well-known term.
I feel the use and possible sale value is small, you might interest a reseller who likes music names and get somewhere in the xx range for it. If an end user loves it, maybe into the low xxx at most, but this is the kind of name that couldn't be sold for a high price simply because there are so many other possible music combos out there still at reg fee, even plays on the words golden oldie; and also it's the plural almost everyone is wanting, not the singular. Good luck and I hope an interested buyer proves me wrong.
To me, this is a name you pick up only if you really want to develop it into a music site yourself. Hope my appraisal was somewhat accurate and helpful.
