I've been sitting on these for years and am toying with the idea of selling them but need to do some research on what they might be worth.

gnv.com (GNV is the 3 letter acronym for Gainesville, FL airport...)

instantpurchase.com - domain purchased for an ecommerce site that was not developed.

glades.net - another Florida related domain.

Bonus domain question:

embroideryheaven.com - for a sewing website that wasn't pursued.

Thanks...

GNV.com = mid to high $x,xxx.xx

I don't see a lot of value in the other domains. But you should be able to cash in quite nicely on the LLL. As for the rest, the .NET looks like maybe low $xxx and the others less. IMHO.

Best of luck Luke and the FORCE™ is with you always! :) :)

Thanks MicroGuy - that's about what I expected.

Estibot gave gnv.com a price of $41k.... seemed rather high to me.

Probably like most things something is only worth what you can get for it, eh? :)

GNV.com

Mid $X,XXX - Low $XX,XXXX reseller.

Double premium, solid end users. This would probably sell for $7,500 - $10K on popular auction sites.

To an end user it could sell for more.

InstantPurchase.com is a decent brand, but kind of broad.
Probably low $XXX.

Glades.net has decent end users. "Everglades" would be better, but still a solid brand. Probably low - mid $XXX.

EmbroideryHeaven.com - Nothing really that special. Low resale value.

Thanks Brad...

Now I have to figure out how to sell it. I've been approached several times via email over the years from people wanting to buy it but it always seems sketchy and more trouble to pursue than it was worth.

gnv.com: Use a service like escrow.com to sell it and you have nothing to worry about.

v is not a strong letter to end with, if you have something like "n" (network) "g" (group) etc it raises the value.

Start by finding established companies with the initials GNV or close (companies with a 4th word, like inc) and approach them.

List on sedo.com or another site, you'll get a quick 6k minus fees.

Create a parking page that lists the buy it now.

You have many options for that highly desirable name. minimum mid X,XXX, up to a quick 10k, take your time and get mid xx,xxx or more.

instantpurchase.com could have low xxx resale value, it's easy to brand in multiple capacities.

Well, I would certainly take the $41k that estibot suggests but I would be willing to bet a big dinner that estibot provides inflated estibot-imates. :)

Escrow.com is a given unless the purchaser is a known entity.

I'm in no rush, that's for sure. I'm going to dig around some.. thanks for the great feedback and I might be back with another question in a bit. Very helpful guys, thanks.

Ok... I'm going to give sedo.com a try with one of the lessor domain names (instantpurchase.com) and try selling one for "practice" before I try to sell gnv.com.
