Thats where you come an offer to buy the domain Its probably a disbanded project that you might be able to pickup relatively cheap. I like the domain, but if you were to develop the .org, would you be loosing traffic to the old .com with backlinks etc considered? More than likely yes...

Try and get the .com and redevelop that, cause I think it has excellent potential.

As it is mid $$, undeveloped

Name is brandable I guess but I dont think I would try to brand a .net when I didnt hold the .com version, its not a keyword/phrase, value is in the traffic if it gets any from people trying to find the .com site.
