I have had some interest for this brandable, dictionary domain. It is ideal for sites related to teens, gossip, fashion, jewelry, etc. Any ideas onwhat I should be asking?
There is some value here; very nice for a few reasons: it's a real word, it's a colorful trendy word, it's a brandable word, and it's a word entirely applying to higher/more expensive fashions, styles, accessories. It has its own unique meaning... not quite 'ritzy', not quite 'chic', but implies glitter, brightness, style, taste, richness. I'd say it's a 'sleeper' name... you don't quite get the value right away, but when you really think about what it means, and the end users that might like to use it, the value should catch up to you.
As the more obvious similar names get snapped up, the value of this one will only rise. I'd say, since it has an uncertain immediate clarity, of low value to resellers, except the odd one who may know exactly what to do with it, marketing-wise:
(undeveloped) reseller - low xxx, mid xxx if they really like it.
But end user is a wild card: def a name I'd be patient with, collect a list of likely end users and start emailing their business-to-business depts, see if you generate any interest. 'glitz.com' of course is more prime, but yours is still very nice. You're dealing with very large industries here, so I hesitate to venture a value for this versatile word... might be impossible to get rid of, or you might get interest from many of them at once, since it is so catchy and relevant -- and then you would have a better idea of what to ask.
Can't see it ever going for a LOT, but maybe med - hi xxx for an average end user who likes it, up to mid or (extremely optimistically) hi x,xxx if you can interest a LARGE fashion/accessory corporation.
Interesting name, I like it a lot; hard to give it a precise estimate, since the use is all over the map...
