Michael,
Not experienced enough to give you an educated estimate. how ever I can suggest a end user market which you may or may not know.
GI is a short for Geographic Information as in (Association of Geographic Information (AGI))
or geographical information as in G.I.S (Geographical Information Systems)
It appears GIUK(dot)co(dot)uk has been taken and is being developed.
Could be worth waiting to see what happens there....
At any rate IMHO keep it for a few years as this industry is going to get bigger and bigger and the web applications for Geographical Information will definately expand.
Or you could sell it to me for XX  as thats all I can afford at the moment
great for an illegal chinese people smuggling site, Get In UK.com :D
no seriously, this one's pretty nice.
I'm not sure if GIUK gap ads much value, as the spot is probably as dead as elvis.
I might be wrong, but 'giuk' only gets 29k google results, which probably proves I'm right.
The domain itself which is ending in UK with 2 common letters in front of it is still worth $250-400 reseller, unless you think of a great GI acronym
btw - giukgroup.com might want to buy the domain for a couple of grand :sold:
Greenland may not be worth much right now but oil and mineral developments are increasing fast.
I would develop it a bit and hold onto it because it is only going to go up in value.
