I'm trying to figure this one out. Are they trying to be generic like xyz and fyi? I'm wondering why the high general availability of $239.00 per year?

Am I missing something or is this a money grab right out of the starting gate?

Any thoughts on .GDN?

Do you actually put a lot of merit behind what they say and do? I did just a little searching tonight and can't find a lot of good but it is the Internet so I'm not sure what to think...

You didn't do much research, couldn't even read first comment pointing out the person making the complaint was a spammer.

I've known about them since 2002. Had an issue with somebody on this list - https://www.spamhaus.org/statistics/spammers/

Used as a source for many fighting spammers, some of them tied to adware.

So they are legit to many, If you don't want to consider them legit, because some extension you're investing in is on the top 10 list or not so good elsewhere, ok.

So you are behind this site and believe in it? I read the link, did you read further down? I also read somewhere where they banned Google's url shorter among others. I think they may have lost a few lawsuits too but don't quote me on that.

Honestly I know nothing about them nor do I have time to dig into their past but I'm not sure how legit they are but if you say they are why would I question that?

As I said, I and many people have known about the site for a long time now. It's probably not an area you're familiar with, internet security type stuff. As an example, I remember talking about this on the forums back in 2003:

"Jaynes, who also allegedly uses the aliases Jeremy James and Gaven Stubberfield, is rated by Spamhaus as the world's eighth-most-prolific spammer."

Sure I know about internet security but don't follow the spam site you keep posting about. Like I've said before every extension has spam, it can't be stopped. I'm sure the top 10 list will change again, keep us posted.

Actually maybe you could start a top 10 list, thread and keep us all posted on this site. Maybe call it New gTLD Most Wanted!
