but what's the difference between a regular hotspot and a gaming hotspot? would it just be somewhere less conventional for gamers to get together and play? because there are already gaming places that work on LAN (which is more reliable than WAN).

and then there's the question of where would gamers want to play networked games (comfortably) that would require wireless... i personally need a desk, chair, etc...

Yea but he could still use it for a PSP/DS site and put a forum up then he could get all the members to post were they live on a map and it could work that way.

I think it is worth mid XXX if developed.
