Hey,

Ok i play DOD = Day Of Defeat. I just wanted to know can you turn your pc into a gaming server. I rent about 6 gaming servers which is costing me quite a few $$$ each and every month. Now i have 7 pc's that i don't use in my house and at work and was wondering if there was any way that i could change theses in to gaming servers?

If this is possible and you can help in anyway i would be willing to sort the person out with money or even cut them in on a deal, As i have also been thinking about starting something like this up to make money and i guess this is the first step.

Any help would be great guy's.

Thanks,

Lee

Double post as i didn't know when to put it. D-: :bingo:

First of all, if you wanted your servers to be 24/7 unlimited, you would need to keep your Connection/PC's on all the time. All you really need to do is Network all your computers up to the one internet connection, possibly channel each pc so that it doesn't use each other's bandwidth, then run a server on each.

Obviously, for you to run 7 games, you would need one hell of a good connection for all the servers to be smooth...

Hope i helped just a bit :)

(feel free to NP$ me ;))
