:hi:

I need a logo to replace the simple "placeholder logo" I put up on my site @ casinoportal.us

I also need a smaller logo to replace the logo on the search results pages ( please take a look at both )

The only stipulation I have re this design is that the logo should be on a white background with no border. Apart from that artistic license most welcome and feel free to use the usual gambling related paraphenalia, ie playing cards , casino chips etc, etc. Oh and I need them both in jpg format and you dont need to follow the colour schemes on the site as they are rather awful, just have not got around to tweaking the colour scheme in the .css file yet

Unsure how much to offer for this so why not suggest a price with your designs and we can negotiate from there.

If you need any more info feel free to pm me

Cheers

Here some more concepts:

CasinoPortal.us Logo ($30, #2):

CasinoPortal.us Logo (SMALLER, $15, #2):
casinoportal43jd.jpg

They are the same sizes, again, as the ones on your site and are entirely vector and custom-made. I added some poker chips to go away from what everyone else is using. I focused on the poker chips instead of dice.

If chosen, supplied in .jpg, .gif, .eps and .ai formats and with watermarks removed.

P.S: Just to clear up this issue with jermainemb, yes, it is called TheLogoCreator and costs about $59.95. I just went on their site and there are loads of template packs with set logos in them. I saw a logo he entered into a different competition to this one, there, and I'm betting that's where he got his "globe" from ;)

Re: Software

Yup I bought my software there Actually I invested more than $200 to get this I bought all those other plug in packs they have...

Actually its not how you make the logo from scratch yeah right thats artistic. But the thing is how it looks like when you put it in the website! Right folks... he he he

And also its not a template I have to edit everything too from color to sizes...Im not saying negative on your works right?

Lets just see who's the best work is... He he he actually we can see he he he

Dont tell me others are not using logo creator I see some using AAA logo maker ha ha ha which i think mine is much better......

jermainemb, you seem to be new to the industry. Now, I'm not saying I am the expert of experts, but, let me give you a little bit of advice.

You say that it's not whether you create the image originally, but how it looks, right? Well, that's not entirely true ;) Say you were a company and you had someone make you a logo (and you payed thousands for it).

Imagine, a few months down the road you find someone has the exact same logo. You contact your designer and he says it was a templated logo and there's nothing he can do about it - you'd be gutted.

My advice to you is to go out there, grab a copy of Illustrator, or Flash or a decent vector program and learn how to use it. Make logos the "proper" way and don't just use some software that gives you a whole load of predefined templates.

And, for the record, I actually feel your logo would not suit as a "logo". Logos should be crisp, clear images, ones that stick in your mind. You globe is much to detailed and people would just forget about it.

Sorry, but these are my views. Thanks for reading, and now, back to the topic at hand, the design of the logo for webmark ;)

Will.

ok ok ok

Thanks for the advice... and also this didnt came from a template I made it from scratch... and Im not new to this industry thats why im telling the client I can do anything he wants with the logo... Im just trying to defend myself right buddy and yes I do know photoshop... Now back to topic :hehe:

Also If you are trying to make a logo please look at the clients website.... If you can see the website is talking about movey and not a cartoon type of website...

I do Architectual design and at the same time a graphic artist...

And Yes paaaaaaaa is the best logo I see here so far im next
