The domain is free-mp3.com

Many years ago, about the time of the Napster problems, the domain was very active ( $4k / month from ads CPM )
It did have access to MP3's via a ASP active page type of thing that connected to a database of "known" url's of mp3's ( like on jimBobs work computer etc ..)

Anyway, the site has not been active in years. I feel that it could be a perfect thing for these companies that give away MP3's ( like on 12 packs of soda etc ..)
I am currently going to build a multi-function site ( Forum / News / reviews / products / free music ) .

I have also thought of selling the name.

So what say Y'all ??? How much is it worth ??

I'm afraid that anyone willing to purchase it would not pay for what its worth as a static domain. Maybe I'll develop it for 6 months and see how it goes.

There are many possibilities for this name I think.

If it generates good profit, it'd sell for $xxxx at least.

But from my experiences most free mp3 sites suck up the bandwidth and doesn't generate much sales/clicks.

Well, I have made some content on the site :

• Drupal Based CMS (VBDrupal to integrate with VBulletin)
• VBulletin Forums
• Music Database (MediaWiki)

All sub-sites tie into one another as well.
I have hopes that The Music Database would grow to massive levels sort of like IBDB (Internet Movie Database) has done.
I'm also learning how to set up Templates like on WikiPedia for easy band and artist submissions.

So, I would like any Appaisers to take a 1st or possibly 2nd look at it and think of the possibilities.
