In answer to the original query about www.purohits.com I've bought a .info domain and gotten one free from them today. I found Ashok, who runs it, to be very helpful and quick in response to queries - his ethos seems to be 'let's do what we need to do to have happy customers'. He certainly appears to listen to what customers are saying and does his best to accomodate them.

Upshot is, I have two new .info domains that were fully functional inside a few hours, pointed at the hosting accounts I'd set up for them, and my test pages are showing up no problem so I'm very happy for the rock bottom price I paid.

I stress I have no connection with Purohits apart from being a very happy customer.
