Forum Boosting: Still a valid option?

Hey folks,
I was just browsing through a folder on my desktop with a tonne of unfinished projects and files with concepts and such and came across my old forum boosting project. I always loved this idea and aslong as it doesnt make a massive loss i'd probably do it just for fun anyway to help me get back into the swing of things. My question is basically this:

Is the forum boosting market still alive?

Anyone got any ideas on this?
