One route to selecting available LLLL names is to find meaningful acronyms (rather than something pronouncable with a mouthful of pingpongs).
Using the previously referenced http://www.dnbrowser.com/ you can play with international airport codes listed at http://www.world-airport-codes.com/
The tricky bit is to select the awkward 4th letter from what is available.
eg Vancouver Coal Harbour Airport code is CXH.
enter CXH on search.
eg CXHH.com is available
could be parked as 'vancouver holiday'.
a strangely addictive exercise..................

I did some browsing through a list of LLLL.coms available that I scanned over the weekend. No real meaningful pronouncable names left but I managed to snag a few silly ones that might have some value to the right person, if not I like them enough to hang on to them indefinitely:

ynah.com (whiner)
yfiz.com (wife is)
mkaw.com (macaw)
fyvr.com (fiver)
ewvu.com (you view)
jeyb.com (southern version of 'jeb' ? :)
iysu (This one is my favorite, a hostname for lawyers -> I SUE).
feyg.com (hmm, won't mention this one, watch the sopranos).

Btw, if anyone isn't using grep for this kind of thing you should be. Even if you aren't on unix there's a windows port available. Scanning this 60k name list for things that might be pronouncable was as simple as:

grep '.[aeiouy].[aeiouy]\.com' llll.txt

Then switch the dots and vowel lists for vowels in characters 1 and 3 instead of 2 and 4.
