*These are not 3 characters, they are 3 letters. There is a big difference.
* It's less a matter of opinion, and more a matter of fact. Quality 3 letter domains in most extensions are consistently one of the more solid segments of the market, both in terms of price and desirability. It's been that way for a long time, and indications are that it will remain that way.
* 3 letter domains are short, easy to remember and used as 'acronyms' and abbreviations.
That being said, these specific examples are not that great because of the Q's, Z (etc.) but still worthy of a registration fee IMHO. They are not likely to be sought after by other resellers, but tuck them under your pillow for a while, and a company that has those initials might come calling.
Yes I totaly agree with -db- when I saw the first post who ever said that they 3 letter are nothing special should never EVER appr. a domain again.. As a mater a fact you should get out of domain business all together...
eg.(sex.us, buy.us etc.. are noting special) heheeh... sure sure..
Almost any 3 letter is worth reg.. in fact every 3 letter is worth at least a reg. fee
