There are about 48% of the NNNNN.net still available (approx. 48,000). If you say that NNNNN.net are worth 1/10 of the .com, then they're not worth anything right now unless it is a nice US zip code or otherwise valuable (spelled word on cell phone, important Chinese number sequence, good foreign postal code, etc.). Good luck finding a nice US zip code .net though, Marchex directs all their zip code .com's to the .net version. NNNNN.com that have no remarkable features seem to be trading for around $15-$25 right now, so a random non-premium NNNNN.net would not be worth anything. I think the value of numeric domains, and NNNNN.com's in particular, might go up a lot in the next few years, as people discover their value in the rapidly growing Chinese market, mobile phone search market, and as foreign postal codes (among other possible development uses). If you can get a NNNNN.net that would be good for these markets (like a nice Paris postal code or a great spelled word on a cell phone) it might be a smart investment. Otherwise, it's a pretty risky investment right now.
