I am new to selling domains and would like some feed back on this one.

Any appraisals would be much appreciated.

Well betr(.)io is same length and also is a 3 letter word plus an extra letter, and it sold for over $7000 this month. However, I think having a negative word (bad) will detract. There have been some negative wod 3, 4 letters in .io that went for a few hundred (like suck(.)io for $355). My guess might be low to mid $$$ but I think it might be hard to sell. Now bad sometimes means something positive like a bad bike, so not at all sure on this one.

Thank you so much for that feedback. I truly appreciate it. It’s actually FB AD, as in Facebook ad.io but I certainly see how it could be misconstrued.
I will have to give it specific attention at the time of sale. Thanks again for the response and your time.

betr.io, as MetBob quoted probably has sold this high simply because it's 'better',
plus the gambling / betting industry is a multi billion dollar market.
Other four letter .io domains that sold recently were mostly still pronouncable or even single dictionary words.
It's a very vague lottery, surely it could be used by marketing agencies who provide account management service and therefore Facebook ads. Hard to put a value, I'd say somewhere in the lower xxx range.
As the renewals for a .io domain are relatively high personally I would drop it, even though I consider Facebook to be quite bad either :xf.wink: Welcome here and best of luck!

I think that, considering the renewal price and the time and luck you will need to find a buyer, it's not worth owning it more than one year.
@MetBob is right, in everything he said.
Owner of SadView.com, SadFlow.com, SadGlow.com speaking. I mean, these are godlike domains, but there's almost no market for negative words.

That thought did not even occur to me. Maybe it is useful in that sense, FBad, although Facebook ads are a pretty closed shop (but maybe room for a consultant type service that would help people word their ads and choose their target audience might be interested in the name. This additional meaning slightly increases what I would see it selling for. Best of luck with it!

I created it with the idea of building out the domain to create FB ads for others as a service. Can I post others in this thread or do I need to create a new thread?
