domain FAISAL.ORG - Appraisal Help Please

OK - I am out of my element on this one. I know that Faisal is a very popular Arabic name (and of course there is King Faisal). It is taken in nearly every major and minor extension in the world, including things like .ws, .bz and .nu.

The name returns over 330,000 pages on Google comprised mostly of names of people, hospitals and other institutions, businesses, etc. It is my understanding that the word means "decisive or resolute" in English. I was wondering if some of you (particularly our members from the Middle East) could help me in appraising this name. Thanks!

I can't provide you with the angle you're looking for, but I concur with your results and observations. Being in the ".ORG", and if it were mine, I would offer it to Faisal N. Jawdat at the ".COM" (after checking in on some of the other extensions, possible sites, as well).

One or more of the hospitals ("King Faisal") mentioned may be interested, as well ... $175 - $225+ at this potential End user level, IMHO. It has potential if it can be targeted and marketed properly, as I see it ... my two sense.

I have learned a lot since picking up this domain. A member from Saudi Arabia at another board told me Faisal.org would be worth $300 minimum. I also learned that there is a big Arabic domain forum at Tasjeel.com - unfortunately it is all in Arabic so I will have a hard time posting the name there.

I see this domain worth a lot more in the end user level than in the wholesale level. You should be able to yield at least $200+ in the end user level! Good luck!
