RJ I'm really appreciate the acknowledgement of my site. I hope it can be used by many who frequent this forum and be seen as a benefit to this community. While the site itself has only been active for a few days I want to thank everyone for there positive support who have emailed through the sites contact page.
While my background in media is in my view unique to forums like this. My appreciation and respect to those with in it is very high.
As a matter of fact, namepros and other community sites like it are one of the first mentions I give to people wanting to know about the domain industry. Personally, the resources freely given with in these pages are very valuable.
To tell you the truth it's one of the reasons I've never posted before, I've always found the answers through others asking similar or the same questions.
My experience to this industry dates back to late in 99, when I first wanted to set up an online venture, but found rather quickly that the domain I wanted and variations thereof weren't available. After some tenuous research into the domain name industry, I simply became facinated with it. I've been a domainer at heart ever since.
ExpiredDomainNames.com is a culmination of many positive factors that seemed to come together at a unique time. While there were many setbacks, there were positives. One and most importantly I became a father this past year. For those that have children (they know exactly where I'm going with this)I know it's an often cliched saying but true. They change your life. For me in a very grounded and humbling way. My baby girl is my first and foremost priority. My new site and labor of love is a distant third. My wife and great support is equal to number one. My only wish is that the site can generate enough support and (of course some revenue
just enough to keep my wife at home to be with my baby girl. Even if it doesn't I'm very fortunate to have what I have. She's (wife) a kindergarten teacher, a true blessing. I think bizbj can concur. Great sig by the way.
I just found out actually (three weeks ago) I'm going to be a dad again! Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise.
