imo i dont think .us will get big untill it allows any1 to register them instead of just us residents

It might have value to a finance company that runs those free finance seminars where people learn how to manage their money via tax-deferred investments and the like. Unfortunately, a .us extension doesn't rank anywhere near a dot com (unless it's a really dynamic one-worder that is commonly used). I'd appraise it at $400-600.

The .us is a nice sounding extension. I see know reason it shouldn't take off. Just needs some big sites to take of in that area.
