Execute automatic tasks on your website

am about to start building a new website/script for executing automatic tasks on your website.
I just want your opinion ... will you guys use/need such service
I know many will say - Why don't you just set a cron job - most basic-mid users don't know how and many just don't have cron available.

For those who still wonder what I am talking about here is an example:

Website www.hypehumor.com needs to run a URL every hour to update its content. With this new website/service you will be able to paste the url you want to run and set the time how often you want it to run. Then save it under your user profile and it will run every hour (or the time you set) till you stop it. You will also be able to see statistics

What do you guys think?

Howdy Maximus,

I know back in the mid 90's I would have really appreciated such a service. It seemed options for externally executing tasks were few and far between. I haven't checked in recent years to see what's out there, but I know there will always be those who want a simple means of running scripts with limited involvement on their part. This could be for various reasons in addition to current skill level.

I think people would find it quite useful. I use a cron job and would consider the service.
