The appraisal by James above was spot on. Registration fee at best unless you can find Evan somewhere.
Since you are saying that you want to get better with your registrations, the best thing you can do is to do lots and lots or reading and research before spending more money on domains.
Pick a spot in the forum here somewhere and just start reading threads and paying attention to what you read. You can start reading other appraisals here as well and see what kind of domains get good valuations and which don't.
Reading and research are your best friends in the domain investing business.
Good Luck.![]()
You are very welcome my friend, I am always happy to help people when I can.Thank you so much . I'm grateful! Il do as you have said but please never hesitate to pass any information down to me that you know I might need. Thanks for your time.
Im interested in hiring a freelance write for a UAV blog website. Are you available for work?Well I'm new at domaining too! But I'm a freelance writer by trade so I have a lot of experience with seo.
my backup plan for unsellable domains is to build it into a ranked site. Not exactly first page. .. but at least it will have some traffic.
then people will buy any domain you have. And hopefully your domain fees and Web building fees will be reimbursed via ROI
Sadly this is not usually the case. A horrible name with "some" traffic will still usually get you nothing. It takes a combination of things or a TON of traffic to a horrible name, then you should be able to sell it.my backup plan for unsellable domains is to build it into a ranked site. You are right ulterious. oscar17 needs to read more about domain marketing, But if he already purchased domain and if it's not a trademark. so oscar17, you need to simply google "Evan Security" & find website which have same name. you can contact them & try. Hope it will workSince you are saying that you want to get better with your registrations, the best thing you can do is to do lots and lots or reading and research before spending more money on domains.
I appreciate your sincerity. Thank you.Sadly this is not usually the case. A horrible name with "some" traffic will still usually get you nothing. It takes a combination of things or a TON of traffic to a horrible name, then you should be able to sell it.
Anybody can get "some" traffic to any domain. Why would they want your name if it's not a good one and gets only "some" traffic? They can buy a new domain for registration fee and get "some" traffic at a lot lower cost.
If you build a real good site and are getting a lot of traffic with a bad domain, then it would have value. If you only get "some" traffic then you will probably only get "some" money.
I'm not trying to be harsh and that is not my attention. I'm simply meaning that if you have a bad domain, you need to have something else that is real good to offer with it if you want to make good money...
I googled it and found a .co.uk ...but I really don't know how to contact them or what to say.. Do you have a template I can use?You are right ulterious. oscar17 needs to read more about domain marketing, But if he already purchased domain and if it's not a trademark. so oscar17, you need to simply google "Evan Security" & find website which have same name. you can contact them & try. You shouldn't use a template as any subsequent replies won't be written in the same way/grammar/etc and can end up sounding potentially spammy.
Investigate the company and get some info about them - total staff, turnover, areas they cover. Even a large company doesn't mean they want the name, but at least it'll give you a base to work on.
Just keep it simple. And given the name and lack of potential end users to sell to, perhaps be happy with a low $xxx offer (either way, work out what you'd be happy with. Unless a seasoned investor etc, you generally don't get rich or even make a lot of money off one basic domain).
Good luck[/QUOTE
Thank you for your time.. I really appreciate your help.
