Enabling <?= in php.ini

hey
i installed xampp and it seems like the quick <?=print/> is not working
how do i enable it?

Edit your php.ini file and set:

short_open_tag = On

Short tags are not recommended, so you might want to consider rewriting your code if you need it to be portable.
