I decided to move one of my (low) income-generating parked domains from sedo over to DomainHop, because I've heard good things about DH.
The domain I moved is 2004taxes.info
I manually set the category to Finance:Taxes, but all I get are maybe 2 tax-related links on the page and the rest are general finance. Anything I can do to fix this before I move this name back to sedo?
Thanks

Its not a fix Yandig they don't have any others, I know what you mean I had a TV name about tv's that I put in Home THeater they had no ads when someone typed in there were no ads blank white page with aother categories on the side they DH re optimized it and made it shopping CD/DVD. Now they have advertisers under Home Theater so I moved back to that category. Good Luck

Yes, the "search term", set it to "tax preparers" or something of the like. That will get rid of the non-tax related terms usually. If not, let me know, I've gotten pretty good at targetting the ads (Not to toot my own horn ;) ).

Thanks guys, for your input.
Allan, I changed the search term to "tax" earlier today. Seems to work well with my sedo-parked tax domains. Maybe that will help %%-

My prediction: better than it does at SEDO, if for no other reason than the CPC will be much higher ;)
Also, better, longer ads pays off IMHO.

Did you just switch your viewlaw.com and xelaw.com domains to domainsponsor.com? They don't look much optimized to me. Are you getting good results nonetheless?

Also I note you show your domains parked at sedo and domainsponsor in your signature area but none for DH. Any reason?

after setting the "search term" to tax, I now have 1 tax-related link on the whole page. :'(
Maybe I will try some more DH-friendly names over there. :-/

I think "tax advisor" or "tax refund" would be better, tax is a semi-generic term on its face.
