I have the same thoughts as HHD, theres a right way to change/start over and theres the wrong way, you obviously chose the wrong route... why I have no idea, I'm sure NP Staff would have helped you make the transition, the right way.

I was trying to give Darren several chances to cool off and held off as long as possible here, since until this series of incidents he had been a good member over a long period of time. Even with the fake account, we allowed him to complete the open design contest thread he was running before closing it, and made sure he had access to the posts and PM's from the second account by merging them together. NP$ earned by the second account was recovered and added to DSL, and the warning points he earned with it were forgotten. I believe we were more than fair.

DSL had his chance to be a man, it's a shame he chose to be a baby.

Ban in effect. Good riddance.

Hey all this is DSL and I didn't mean to be so hostile but I needed that account closed. Alot of shit has been going on where I am, I just wanted to start fresh but see that I couldn't. There were only 2 ways to fix the situation on this forum to save my reputation: start fresh or fall. I chose to fall after I couldn't start fresh. I just made this account to say goodbye and thanks for the good times we had. Just remember though political threads on a forum can ruin you and your reputation. Alot of the hostility was to go out in a bang and when I woke up today I was pretty angry still from the night before for some family shit. I will see you all later and peace. Don't let this shit get to you.

sounds sincere enough for me. i dont think you leaving will solve ur problems, but im sure an appolgy will help. Im not mad at cha. And im sure that if you want to everything can be cleared up if you really want to start fresh. And i agree with you when u say political threads can get you into some major disputes. I dont hold a grudge thuogh, like i said. so either way, if you stay, hope you can resolve ur issues. but if you leave, well.... still hope for the best for ya.

There is a level of accepted behavior on a public forum and the line was crossed.
Don't blame it on "political" threads. If you are not capable of discussing things without insults and threats then it's very easy to stay out of the discussion.
