Does anyone know how 2 install ffmpeg?

i have a script that requires this to be installed on my server. can anyone help me with a how 2 or info? thanks

you need it on linux?

Depending on your platform, you might be able to just do "yum install ffmpeg" from the commandline as root.

If you are on just about any flavor of unix, you use the standard install method: ./configure && make && make install
(you can choose to run test if you want to)

Note these are ffmpeg installs but you may want to install other codecs as well for ffmpeg to use
