car companies very seldom develop domains strictly for models. If you look at most popular cars names .com or whatever, they arent developed by the manufacturer...

That said, Dodge isn't a brand plate in Europe.. there they sell under the Chrysler Brandplate (See Chrysler Viper as an example) also, see this: http://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/caliber.html where in goes into some detail as to the marketing of Dodge as Chrysler in Europe.

MoPar or no car baby. This little car is sweet though and is intended to be the replacement for the aging PT Cruiser... that being said, it is unlikely CHRYSLER brand name will have two cars competing against each other (Caliber vs PT) in one market, that and DaimlerChrysler obviously wanting to expose the dodge brand name into Europe, could make it viable.

Hard to predict market for a car though, and Euro taste has been less than receptive to American brand Styling, which this caliber is to the 9th degree (thankfully, euro styling bores me). If Dodge Keeps the name of this car the same in the States, then Amen, you have a real winner.
