<Div> Tags not compatible with Opera?

Divs are supported in Opera.

EDIT: Unbelievable. Opera does support <div>'s, but the problem was that a ">" was missing in the website's stylesheet. It took me forever to figure out the problem, and of course it was something as simple as a missing delimiter. But the strange thing is is that the website still displayed properly in IE and FF.

I'm not sure what you are talking about, but Opera has one of the best CSS engines.

DIV's work fine in it.. can you show what's happening?

You're probably going to have to show an example in this case. As far as opera and divs go, Opera is actually the closest to W3C standards in terms of rendering.

If you continue to have trouble, maybe you should try fixing the problem on the browser side of things.. check out this hack to target Opera 7 only.

Basically its like this:
Code:
@media all and (min-width: 0px){
   [ Normal CSS rules here ]
}

DIV tag works fine on Opera.

Practically, I've never had any trouble with DIV tags and Opera. Besides, its one of HTML's most common tags so I wouldnt expect a compatibility problem there.

He was missing a > in the HTML or a } in the stylesheet, causing his layout to look different than it should have.
