Smith v Director's Choice, LLP is set for oral arguments before a federal judge on Tuesday 4/30/19 in Camden, NJ. this may be the longest running domain dispute in the history of the Internet. The domain was registered in 2000 and the first legal threats were sent in 2002. A UDRP was not filed until 2014 and a Court review was requested after the panel ordered a transfer of the domain. The lawsuit alleges Director's Choice manipulated the specimens and hid communications from the panel that spanned some 12 years. The attorney who filed the UDRP for Director's Choice, LLP (Matthew Swyers of The Trademark Company) agreed to a voluntarily disbarment after an investigation by the US Patent and Trademark office in 2016. The accusations against Swyers included filing manipulated specimens and fraudulent trademark applications in other cases not related to this case. Director's Choice, LLP is represented by Matthew Kaplan who previously represented Glen Beck in a dispute over "glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com" which he lost.

The case will be heard before Judge Simandle in Courtroom 4A at 10 AM on Tuesday 4/30/2019.
