Lord Jesus, I ask You to forgive all my sins, those I know and those I don’t. Please wash me clean and make me new. Write my name in the Book of Life. I receive You as my Lord and Saviour. Amen.​

By doing so, you’ve welcomed Christ into your life, and you’re now part of God’s family. The Bible says the angels rejoice every time someone accepts Jesus, and your name is now written in heaven (Luke 10:20). Remember, salvation is a gift. Ephesians 2:8 reminds us, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith…” This relationship with God isn’t about rituals or good deeds, but about believing and trusting in Him.

As you start this new chapter, know that your relationship with God will grow as you learn more about Him in the Bible and talk to Him in prayer. I encourage you to keep seeking, asking questions, and connecting with other believers.

If you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can rest assured that you are a Christian. The Bible promises, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). “To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).

You’ve taken the most important step. Let’s walk this journey together, exploring topics like salvation, deliverance, knowing our Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit, prayer, and more, including how to read the Bible.

Jesus Offers a Hopeful Future

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the reflection of God’s promises, or are you weighed down by your past and present circumstances? In the tech world, there’s a term WYSIWYG, “What You See Is What You Get.” It describes a program that shows you exactly what your finished work will look like. In a way, this is how our perspective can shape our future: what we expect from life often becomes our reality.

Take a moment and reflect on your journey. Where have you come from? Where are you now? And most importantly, where are you headed? Because of Jesus sacrifice on the cross (see Galatians 3:13), you’re offered a fresh start. Your past doesn’t have to dictate your future; God’s promises remain true no matter where you began.

Read scriptures like John 1:12, Revelation 12:11, Jeremiah 29:11, Matthew 11:28-29, and Romans 6:23. As you read, you’ll find countless reassurances of the hope and future Jesus wants to give you.

Think about the people Jesus transformed: Peter, once a struggling fisherman. The thief on the cross, moments from death. The man from Gadara, set free from torment. Zacchaeus, the tax collector. Mary Magdalene, Bartimaeus, Saul of Tarsus, all experienced radical change and purpose when they encountered Christ. Today, their stories inspire millions.

Your story with Jesus can be just as extraordinary. If you hold on to Him and let His perspective shape your life, you’ll find hope and direction like never before. This starts by seeking Him, learning from His words, and making space for His presence every day.

Prayer:

1. Father, show me my purpose and guide me to where I’m meant to be, in Jesus name.
2. O Lord, make thy way straight before my face in the name of Jesus.
3. Divine acceleration, come upon me now, in Jesus name.

Guarding Your Heart and Destiny

Scripture Reflection:
Genesis 38:16; 1 Kings 11:1-7; 1 Corinthians 6:20

Genesis 38:16 -16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me?

1 Kings 11:1-7 -11 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites:

2 Of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.

3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.

5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father.

7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.

Our lives are shaped by choices; some big, some small, but all carrying consequences that may echo into our future. The Bible doesn’t shy away from showing the impact of our actions, especially in relationships and intimacy.

Judah’s story in Genesis and Solomon’s in 1 Kings are reminders that even those who begin well can lose their way. Solomon, renowned for his wisdom, let his heart be swayed by desires, which eventually led him away from God. Judah’s choices set off a chain reaction that affected generations. These stories aren’t just ancient history; they’re warnings and lessons for us today.

Sexual decisions, especially those made carelessly or outside God’s design, can have lasting effects. Sometimes, the struggles we face in our lives broken relationships, spiritual heaviness, or lingering setbacks trace back to decisions we made or patterns we inherited. The Bible tells us, “You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body and your spirit, for they belong to Him” (1 Corinthians 6:20).

Perhaps you recognize patterns in your own life or your family’s story that need to be broken. Maybe you’ve made choices you regret, or you’re living with the consequences of someone else’s actions. The good news is that God is in the business of restoration. He invites us to bring our past to Him, to seek forgiveness, and to walk in freedom.

If you’re carrying the weight of past mistakes, or feel stuck in cycles that rob you of peace, know that you’re not alone. God’s grace is more than enough to set you free and give you a new beginning.

A Step Toward Freedom

• Acknowledge where you’ve missed the mark.
• Pray for God’s mercy and deliverance from any patterns, personal or generational, that hold you back.
• Remember that intimacy is a gift to be cherished within marriage, and God’s design brings blessing, not shame.
• Seek out a Bible-believing community for support, healing, and growth.

Prayer Points:

1. Lord, forgive me for my sins. Break any bondage or negative patterns in my life and family.
2. Restore to me anything I’ve lost because of past mistakes.
3. In Jesus’ name, I break every unhealthy soul tie and command every attachment not from God to leave my life.

No one is beyond hope, and no past is too broken for God to redeem. Choose today to honour Him in every area of your life; your choices today can shape a legacy of freedom for generations to come.

How Will You Be Remembered?

Scripture Reading: Acts 9:36-40
36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Memory Verse: Proverbs 13:22: “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.”

Have you ever paused to reflect on the legacy you’ll leave behind when your time on earth is finished? What will people remember you for?

The most valuable thing you can leave behind is a life that points others to what truly matters. Living in genuine surrender to God’s will is the mark of a life well lived.

When you look through the Bible, you see many who left a mark on the world:

• Dorcas, known for her kindness and generosity.
• David, remembered for his courage against Goliath, his leadership as Israel’s greatest king, and his heart for God.
• Solomon, who built the temple and was famed for his extraordinary wisdom.
• Nehemiah, who, despite his humble job, led the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls.
• Elijah, who boldly stood for the Lord and turned a nation back to God.
• Peter, whose preaching at Pentecost led thousands to Christ.
• Paul, whose letters and missionary journeys shaped the early church and fill much of the New Testament.

On the other hand, some are recalled for their failures: Pharaoh, whose stubbornness led to his downfall, and Judas Iscariot, whose betrayal of Jesus has become infamous.

Think about your own story. When your family, community, and future generations remember you, what will they say? Each of us has the power to leave a legacy either for good or for ill. Choose to be remembered for something lasting and positive.

Your actions today matter. They will echo into tomorrow and beyond, shaping the memories and blessings you leave for those who follow. As a follower of Christ, you have the grace and strength to make a real difference. Let your life point others to God, and strive to leave behind an example worth following.

Prayer:

1. Lord, don’t let my life end until I fulfil my purpose, whether in ministry, career, or family, in Jesus name.
2. I remove my name from every record of the enemy, in Jesus name.
3. Jesus, help me make a meaningful impact in my generation, in your name I pray. Amen!
