With the current trend of register L-L-L.com, L-LL.com and LL-L.com, and the fact that CVCV.com are sold at much high price, anyone ever do an reserch on CV-CV.com? In my eyes, some CV-CV.com are much better than L-LL.com, LL-L.com and even L-L-L.com.

IMHO, not al LL-LL.com are worth to be regged at current time. Those domains strictly follow CV-CV.com, eg. li-ve.com, should worth something and there's not many left. CV-CV.com is short, brandable, easy to be pronounced and remembered.
