I think the two words fit together well, what do you think?

I think they go very well together. However GoldCurrency is probably better.

I would say low/mid XX - high XX resale. More to an end user or if developed.

Unfortunatly goldcurrency was taken, but i think i prefer currencygold, it sounds better IMO.
what does anyone else think.

Great gold name, (see http://www.namepros.com/domain-appraisals/223314-choose-your-gold-name.html).
Two good keywords that are VERY closely related. "currency Gold" is a little more fluent than Gold CUrrency, though the latter is much more common. I think this is a fine name overall.
