Relatively newer word at least in terms of popularity, but cc takes off in popularity more each time a new online currency system is created. Becoming a huge term. Already regged in many - not few, but many - extensions including vague ones.
Many news articles are increasing the public awareness of the services and the common-usageness (can we call that a word please?) of the term. As well, the term is part of the domain string of at least dozens of other domains, many of which are developed websites. Huge domain for the online currency market, many possible buyers. Search numbers growing steadily, currently showing almost 15k searches/month in google for the us.
Only possible setback: I broker premium domains and I find that it's harder to get a high price for broader terms like this. Most people in the industry like brandable terms or more specific terms, and while almost anyone in the industry would pay mid x,xxx for this one, or even low xx,xxx, including me as a reseller, once you want high amounts for it, like high five to six figs, it's very difficult to interest buyers, at that price, for generics that cover a whole industry rather than the specific parts of that industry.
But damn, man, get some articles and a developed site up there while you're waiting, and some ad program. You could be making a killing each month on income from this, let alone the selling price. Financial terms, especially hot financial terms, make very high click amounts in Adsense...
As a reseller I'd easily pay in the mid x,xxx range for it [you can consider that a genuine offer - but don't be dumb enough to accept it

] and I expect other resellers might go up to 10k or better. I also might have a buyer if you'd sell for 10 - 15k. I think a low end user price would start in the 25k range on up, but this domain/term is still comparatively young and I foresee you could realistically get a sale in the future for six figs, anywhere low to high. Because of the general broadness of the name, I think a seven fig sale is highly unlikely... but who knows how big this term will become? Kind of a lottery ticket; hang on to it a while and see to just what extent cc will explode
Nice, good luck
