Want to develop as a sort of 'everything you wanted to know but afraid to ask' about each county in the U.S. Also links to all official county web sites. Would like to mak it fun and maybe targeted toward kids.

Think any value there if I can't dig up the time?

Big project as depending on how counted there are somewhere between 3077 and 3142 of them.

low $xx wholesale -- This would be a tremendous undertaking to develop. Where do you plan on getting the content about thousands and thousands of US counties?

Get some here, some there -- gov pubs, books, web sites...

Things want to do -- test your cq by answering questions -- sort of like trivia.

random facts each time page loads.

In what state is the largest county located.

What is the most common county name.

How many counties in LA (trick question).

Just put together a list of the county where the highest point in each state is located. on & on & on.

I hope I can make it entertaining and interesting. That will be harder than getting info.

Sounds like an interesting project that I would check out sometime. Doesn't particularly sound like a money-maker, though.
