Cool optical illusion

Try this optical illusion. I missed it the first time as I was too skeptical, however the second time it was quite spectacular.

Now that I look back on it, and do a frame by frame, it is indeed an optical illusion, and a good one.

It's not a spoof...i tried looking at the dot..it was coloured if i didnt look at it until it changed it was totally b/w.

Wow, that is so cool. It's not a spoof, first time, I didn't stare at it until it changed (to check that it wasn't one of them scream things, hehe) and when the castle came up it was totally black and white then when I stared - colour!

It's the effect of short delay of our sight, right?

I think it must has to be with the first colours we see, and some kind of opposite colours but i can't tell for sure.
If anyone care to explain i would like to know for sure how this is made...

I am pretty sure that -- It works because there is a lag and cumulative effect of what you see on the cells in the back of your eye. If you look at one color for a long time, and then suddenly switch to no color, the cell will overadjust to the polar opposite color for a brief period of time. It is not a spoof.
