AFAIK, Chinese traffic wouldn't do good at ANY PPC period.

Point your traffic to affiliate programs. Probably the best I know.

I hope this helps.

All the best!

i'd have to agree with netPH. you should try affiliate programs. i recommend bravenet.com . although i'm not an affiliate there (yet), i get their webmaster newsletter monthly and last month, their top affiliate was actually a site that was entirely in chinese! And a couple of months back, a Singaporean website thefreecounty.com or something like that, was the top affiliate too. so, do give it a go.

i don't understand why ppc programs pay peanuts for traffic from China. what on earth do they have against the Chinese?

Thank you very much!!
I have signed up and awaiting their opinion of what to do with the traffic!

I read that chinese traffic is low value because

1) not many chinese understand english, and most advertisements and products advertised are in english
2) low buy-rate, the chinese audience simply don't have the buying-power of for an example american visitors.

This is what I have heard and I am only the messenger, these are not opinions so no offence to anybody =)

Any other tips of what to do with asian/chinese traffic?
Doesn't it exist any program such as domainsponsor.com (referral link REMOVED - No Referral Links within NamePros as Per Site Rules - Consider this a Verbal Warning) in asia that would be interested in local traffic?? I think it is strange.

Most PPC companies simply wont pay for Chinese (Asian) traffic. Some will pay a pittance, but in my experience even these people stop paying after a while.

The reason PPC people donโ€™t pay for Asian traffic is because their programmes are targeted to the North American market and they donโ€™t understand anything else. Iโ€™ve made enough off of Chinese language affiliate programmes to say that there is a market there. Certainly not as big as the US, but itโ€™s there and itโ€™s growing. And when I say โ€œnot bigโ€ I mean dollar value, not visitors/clicks. I get 1,000 uniques a day from China on one of my parked names.

In order to capitalise on a name with Asian traffic at this point you are going to have to develop it. Thatโ€™s really the only way you will be able to stick ads on there that will pay. Adsense has ads for the Asian market, as do a number of companies offering affiliate programmes. Iโ€™ve been pretty satisfied with Asian Friend Finder. There have been a few companies over here trying to do PPC but so far they have all failed. One of these days I will give it a go (and probably fail myself :) )

The best piece of advice I can give is donโ€™t get discouraged. Stick with it, and wait for the China PPC market to pick up. This will take some time, but you can bet that come 2008 people will be begging to advertise on anything with a Chinese audience.

If you are willing to sell those domains, I'll pay top dollar for that traffic or pm me on how to convert it better than anything else. Possibly $5-10 CPM.
