Sex sells, in any form, they say, and more so, if it happens to be the most famous porn website on the Internet, sex.com. Stephen Cohen realized that after he lost an appeal against a ruling that he has to shell out $65 million to Gary Kremen, the man who had originally registered sex.com.

According to reports published in USA Today , Cohen pinched the domain name in 1995. He then used it to run a lucrative porn business. Kremen, who belongs to San Francisco, had originally registered the domain name in 1994.

However, Cohen, an ex-convict, managed to take the name from Kremen in 1995 by sending a fake letter of transfer to Network Solutions (which later became part of VeriSign). However Cohen’s bliss lasted for a short while until November 2000, when a court awarded Kremen the return of the domain name.

Although Cohen has not shelled out any money to Kremen, the latter claims that a warrant has been put out for his arrest. However, reports claim that Cohen is now busy with a European career in the casino and construction industries.
