I think that once again an auction has been screwed up by a careless member who then thinks he can retract his bid with no consequences.
It has happened to me too more than once and I ended up being the only penalized side of the transaction as those who behaved against the rules have had no consequences for their behaviours.
This member won't pay; everyone knows it.
Until something is implemented at a forum level I can only wish good luck. I sense you need it.

He said he is not going to pay. He should have explained what happened(why $200 too $5000) but didn't. This is exactly why we have a feedback system...

You can't hold seller responsible for actions, of others, not fair to seller. Personally I think you don't have $5K to pay the seller, prove me wrong, and make me eat my words

If you make a bid for $5K, you have to be a man, and honor your bid, otherwise you are no better than those others.
