Hello NamePros.com

I'm looking to sell this domain, possibly to end buyers in my leads list, or to a reseller if I fail to sell it after some time.

Please help me valuate it.

I know the domain is long. Considering that it is hard to find cheap and/or available cloud domains, this one means something and has good keywords, it is what makes the cloud work (Servers) and what the cloud is mostly used for (Storage). There you go, CloudStorageServers.

CloudServers was sold for $32,010 back in 2012 @ GoDaddy
CloudAppStore for $12,690 in 2011
Even PrivateCloudHosting that is 19 characters as my domain sold for $3,600 back in Apr 2013.

Thank you,
dpan

So you're the one who got the drop.

I had it on my list too - to me it's one of those long cloud names that would be good if the .com cloud names had another hot streak.

Three scenarios:
- Auction right now, hoping to get attention in a crowded field: $500-$1500
- Wait / find an end user (or one finds you): $3,500 - $5,000
- Wait for another cloud market craze: $5,000, maybe up to $7,500

I didn't feel like it was one that was flippable immediately for big bucks, but if you're patient or willing to do leg work to get a sale, it could pay off.

Hey The New Guy,

Thank you very much for your appraisal.
Did you backorder it as well? I used GoDaddy.

I thought the same about the name before I backorder it. I think I will start with the second scenario, find an end user. If I don't get any response, I will contact them again with a lower price. Otherwise, I will auction it, first on GoDaddy and if that doesn't work, I'll try Flippa.

If none of the first two scenarios work, I will build a nice page with a list of cloud storage server companies and wait for another cloud market craze as you said.

Some nice "exact results" on Google, still making my lead list, lets see.

No, I don't back order - I wrote my own drop catcher and use that for getting drops, so if godaddy or another registrar dedicates a lot of effort to a domain, they usually get there first since they have the resources (and direct access).

Congratulations on getting it - even though it's long it's a good name, and should be more valuable the more time and effort you're willing to put into it.
