Note: 3Ds.co.uk is used as some kind of microsoft site ..?

My immediate thought was a 4d printing/scanning website or brand but there are plenty of other possibilities.

I'm guessing that a short 3 character/number domain name like this, which also has meaning could be very valuable but i'd love to hear what you all think.

I think I have mentioned it before, I am not sure about 4D names, 3D printing will dominate for years to come so you have to hold onto if for quite a while and that means lots of renewal fees

I didn't check the whois but can you explain why it goes straight to a microsoft page?

Yeah, I meant the whole 4D thing, not necessarily 4D Printing, I cant really see what 4D will involve?

Anyway, yeah the site is probably just some page they created, not sure but seen it before

ok cool, they are used in a brandable sense though, I think you will have to be patient as you cant chase many end-users with it

See if any of them have a UK office? Check for trademarks first though, there are a lot for 4D and 4DS
