Is there room in the market for another Classified website???

I want to know how many people here use classified websites?

Craigslist etc...

What do you use and why?

Im about to enter into a new venture that could bring another classfied site and I want to know should I?

What would you want to see on it?

Regards,

Rob

There is always more room.
Maybe you should try to include the other classifieds not compete with them.

I own and park classifieds.pro. Were I to endeavor to develop it, I think job one would be to ensure that I was not merely circulating another classified publication. Further, that classifieds continue their overall relevancy in an otherwise highly competitive media market provides evidence that your intended quality entry, properly marketed and otherwise cost efficient, enjoys a like opportunity of success...

just know that there are a million of them - most hosts offer free classified software, and there are as many competitors as there are domains with "classifieds", "list/s" or "ads" in them.

agree with ^, you have to find your niche. craigslist started in one city and expanded out as the buzz started - might be a smart way to go (advertise local).

there is always potential in any kind of business, regardless of its demand

what can you do differently from craigslist, is a better question to ask. and i dont use classifieds web sites. i am naturally skeptical of something as unregulated as craigslist
