Also this is listed on Yahoo:

Chemology International
distributing a range of chemical products.
Category: B2B > Chemicals and Allied Products > Distributors
www.chemology.com

Which adds even more value for this one word domain.

I looked it up on webster and couldn't find it, but a search for the word does find results from sites that are using it as a word.

Yahoo (115 hits)

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=chemology&toggle=1&ei=UTF-8&xargs=0&pstart=1&fr=FP-tab-web-t&dups=1

Google (217 hits)

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=chemology

Yahoo Listing is $299 per year unless registered before 12/01. This site has been on the web since 1998 according to Archive.org

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.chemology.com

Which means it would not be subject to the $299 yearly fee.

I submitted it to GreatDomains.com and it is in review right now, so it looks like they feel it also holds value. Not sure yet though what their final value assesment will be.

Does anyone know any other online dictonary sites that I could check to see if they define this word. I've been looking at the meaning sites give the word, but haven't had a chance to go through a lot of the sites yet.

Thanks for your feedback.

No stats yet, I have not had it long.

Doesn't appear in a dictonary I have found yet, but it certainly is a term used.

It appears that it relates to Chemistry/Biology.

I have found schools that have classes called Chemology on the web, and I also just found that there is a Ministry of Chemology that apparently has awarded the following site an award. If an offical government agency uses the term in its name, this is clearly a term that does have a meaning, although I haven't found a dictonary yet with it.

http://www.menghepesticide.com/introduction-e.htm

Maybe this is a industry specific term, or one so new it hasn't made it into the dictonary yet. The site above seems to assign this word a meaning of the study of chemical/biology.

Here is a meaning the word is given from this site, section 260:

http://www.textlog.de/4261-4.html

Let us call the science of the kinds of matter by the name of chemology. This science will have to describe all the special properties of all kinds of matter, and among these properties, will have to describe the shapes into which matter of different kinds grows. So, then, we may reckon crystallography as a branch of chemology.

Here a site of the US government uses the term:
http://www.netl.doe.gov/coolscience/teacher/materials/addmatrl.html

Other sites link this word to Biotechnology companies.

I think this domain would be best suited to serve the chemical, biology, biotechnology industry. I even found company's with this word in their name.

It could be "pan": chemistry is old Greek, _ology Latin for science.
