Value of domain itself?

I was thinking of starting a blog/review site for cheese lovers/connoisseurs .

Well, dude. Here's what I think. It might have some value to some dude that makes, like, cheese, dude. Or maybe, like, he doesn't make cheese but he loves cheese and wants to blog about cheese, dude.

So, dude, I think it's brandable domain, but the problem is, dude, it will take a while to probably find a buyer if you want to sell to an end user...dude.

So here's what I say, dude.

Wholesale to other domainer dudes. Maybe up to low/mid XXX, dude.
Retail to end user dudes. Maybe up to $1K, dude.
But, dude, one can never really say what an end-user dude might value a domain at so it could be more, dude. Hard to say with brandables, dude.

K, dude, I'm out, dude. :xf.grin:

Dude, I also wanted to point out that according to the namebio dudes (or perhaps even dudettes?), .coms ending in dude have sold as high as $3K https://namebio.com/?s==kDO1YDM5AjM

Also, dude, names beginning with cheese have gone for as much as 100K. But honestly, dude, you really can't compare cheesecake to cheesedude, dude. I mean it's like comparing dudes to chicks, dude. https://namebio.com/?s==ITM2YDM5AjM

Just wanted to add that, dude.

Thanks for that, I wasn't familiar with the Namebio site. I figure there are as many dudes that like cheese as any of those other things. ;)

Fer sher, dude. But the thing is, how many of them really want a domain, let alone a blog, about cheese. That's what makes the search for an end user tough in your case.

Someone's out there. You just have to find them.

I'm sure there's a cheese forum somewhere lol. Start posting there and then gently ease into your sig that CheeseDude.com is for sale

Looking at the Cheese domains it does seem better than the similar CheeseFreak.com which sold for $523 in 2008 and is now for sale at $3,295 .

Hey, @Damon18 dude. Your in luck. I found 2 cheese-making forums with a bunch of dudes just waiting to buy your domain, dude.

http://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php

https://curd-nerd.com/forum/

There's probably more but I don't feel like doing all your work for ya, dude. lol

BTW, dude, I'm not making fun of you or giving you a hard time. Just having some fun, dude.

Yeah, but "for sale for" means nothing. I have a few domains that are "for sale for" XX,XXX. But I know no one is gonna pay that price. I just don't know what to price them at just yet so I price them high.

If I wanted to start a cheese forum I could buy CheeseTalk.com, it's for sale at only $18,750 !
