Spelling
Sorry, people see the word "Asian" all over the place, and our spelling is based on seeing words in our mind. This is why good readers are good spellers, and its also why terms become brandable (terms like "google" become imprinted in our brains)
A one syllable word that is spelled similarly to how it sounds, does not break any rules of spelling ("i before e..."), is not a brand, and is commonly seen, is unlikely to be misspelled.
