Interesting Reading NameScout's FAQ
Raises somes Questions
1/ I am not allowed to Sell .com.au's without Charging the Australian Government's Tax ,so how can a Canadian Company avoid it.
2/ Transfers of names in the .au NameSpace are not usually approved by auDA ,so why imply that it can be done. Although charging for a full new 2 years Registration implies what NameScout are actually doing is cancelling the old registration and re-registering in the new Business name.
3/ Anyone purchasing .com.au from An AUSTRALIAN company gets a full Legal Tax Invoice for Taxation refund Purposes .
This is needed by Australian Tax Office to Claim your
FULL purchase price back as a Legal Business expense.
Therefore Buy at
NameScout.com.au = $46 . total cost after refund $46
WebName4.com.au = $59 total cost after Refund $0
(Any other Australian Registrar / Reseller also would have a net cost of $0)
So all I can say is
Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi! Oi! Oi!
