Hi,

just wanted to start this thread, my chargebacks are as follows:
Parkingcrew: 0.
Bodis: 0
Domainsponsor: 0 (all clicks till now have been valid)
IT: 0
Voodoo: all the clicks on car donation and some on the finance field have been charged back. So I kind of stopped using them. Please only users with Forum reputation should write to this thread. No ppl who were bugging because they were not paid and had an account balance of XXX USD out of nowhere all over the place :)

I hada chargeback with Parkingcrew months ago. Still don't know why. I stoped to park with them. Never had any chargeback with voodoo, bodis or domainsponsor.

Sorry to hear, maybe somebody was messing with your domains at that time. I cant really get it. Some people have tendency of being envious and try to kill the parking on particular domain. Its kind of psychopathic behavior I guess. But the good point is, Google is in majority of cases not blocking the domain, just the clicks are not valid.

over the past several months , voodoo was the only parking co that made chargebacks .

i do not like the idea that many of the clicks are gone by the time they bring the updated total and "final" revenue and thann at the end of the month companies decide the final numbers where not final after all and take even more money - what a joke the parking companies are - trust them as far you can throw them i say !

How can I explain this. As a parking provider who works with the largest ad network, they provide us at the end of the month with a list of chargebacks or ad credits. This happens for a large portion of customers for every parking company. The question is what do the parking companies do with those numbers once they receive them.

In our case, you get a deduction in your account, so if your account numbers say $1,000 and we get a chargeback for $8.00, we will show you the $1,000 and a chargeback of $8.00 so you would get paid $992.00. We are open and tell you exactly what happens.

If you send any type of traffic to a particular company and have never had a single penny in chargeback, the question is how is that possible? Because it's not.

Bodis Chargeback

I hada chargeback with Parkingcrew months ago. Still don't know why. I stoped to park with them. Never had any chargeback with voodoo, bodis or domainsponsor.

Got one from Bodis. :alien:

One of my domains received a chargeback of $1,046.74 revenue :td:

For the past few months now the domain constantly received $10+ clicks and had been paid in total. I'm looking at other options now as I no longer trust '3rd party' reporting.

For all I know Bodis could be keeping this revenue for itself as there's no indication that the money was paid back to advertisers.

With no oversight in the PPC domain parking industry what's really stopping them from manipulating rev-stats to keep the bulk of clients parking revenue? :?

Most every business who accepts credit card payments is subject to chargebacks, Fraud is unfortunately a part of doing business, The downside for us as domainers is that we cant control it, only Google or other SE's that sell advertising have control over it, its where our PPC revenue comes from.

Your not alone in that $1 or $8 chargeback, plenty of other PPC recipients got screwed as well, If a scammer bought up $1000 in Google ads for his business and later did a chargeback, everyone who delivered ads were effected.... That's not Voodoo's or Bodis's fault, their simply passing the loss onto us, just like a store does when they mark up mechandise to cover fraud loss, only difference is its not disclosed.

I think what most of you have trouble with is the transparency of it all, Where's the "proof" that a chargeback actually occurred?.. It would be great if Parking was more transparent, unfortunately its not, all we have to rely on is TRUST... I've known Donny and Matt for many years and not once have I distrusted either of them, they simply never gave me a reason to.

Exactly.... Instead of jumping to the worst conclusion, why not give that person who's been sending you money every month the benefit of the doubt?

IMO domainers need to stick with companies they trust even though revenue maybe slightly less, I learned this lesson a long time ago when I was jumping from parking co. to parking co. and ended up getting screwed out of over $2000, Igal Lichtman at DomainSpa accused me of click fraud and kept my revenue, the only problem with the false allegation was that I was in another State at the time, in Vegas at a convention that Moniker was at, Provided the proof but it didn't matter, he robbed me of my money anyway...

I ran this by Donny soon after it happened and Donny happily accepted my application, That was over 10 years ago and I've been with Donny ever since, also went to Bodis for awhile and never once had a issue with payment, revenue or accusations of impropriety.

Back to chargebacks, I probably received about 3 in total, ever.. And if I added them up, it would be less $5 bucks.
