cctld - SEO question

Has anyone had any success w/ SEO w/ a cc, nu, ws? I am considering some terms w/ 7,000-12,000 WordTracker daily / 200M-300M OV monthly searches. Haven't looked at these cctlds for a while and am wondering if the high number of searches justifies a reg. The idea would be to get the domain up the SE list, and later use for redirects. Any thoughts?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Any ext doesnt matter with seo - there all the same.

Also the higher number of keyword searches the more competition there is
going to be for that keyword. Thus making it harder to reach #1.
I would also recommend using wordtracker its more accurate because more
search engines are involved and plural and singlular terms are different.

Yes, I look at Overture and WordTracker together. Getting both singular and plural is invaluable- the differences can be extreme. Also fairly extreme, are the variances in many of the search result numbers.

Do you think a 10M/day term is worth picking up in these tlds?

If you just going to sell it - I would say yes.

As a business perspective - it really doesnt matter. You'd have just as much of a chance getting "BlueMoonPalaceShopping.cc" as #1 as you would with
a "keyword.com".
