If you were to rank all these extentions, what would you rank them, from best to worse

Here's mine
.ws
.tv
.cc
.name
.bz

I am a bit new to these new extentions, especially .name, and i want some opinions.

thanks

For commercial use or resale:

.ws
.cc
.tv (higher if you actually plan on developing for media - high priced.
.bz
.name (Sorry, I don't see much value here except in some rare cases dealing with "names")
.pw
.in

.ws
.cc Actually its a dead race with .ws for me, but .ws is much cheaper.
.bz (can be a typo for .biz domains, I like that!)
.tv (low rank due to high price and very limited/specialized usability)
.name

.ws (I still have faith in this extension and believe it will still do well)
.cc (would rank alongside or above .ws if compliments extension (i.e race.cc)
.tv (higher if compliments the domain)
.bz (2 letter I would rank higher)
.name

I think it says quite a bit when .name is the only gTLD on the requested list and remarketed ccTLD's are consistently beating it with domain buyers. Looks like they did a half decent job of marketing it as a "personal" domain and not a commerical one. In addition, the most desirable domains to buy are the surnames reserved in the second level for email. The problem is that doesn't leave much available that works with the extension.

too bad i didn't.....

I think the results are very interesting. If you want to add other extentions such as .nu, .sc, .cn etc, feel free to. I think everyone will like to know.

Also does anybody know where i can see the amount of domains registered in each of these extentions?

thanks
btw, i am going to get a lot of these soon.

So, with the absence of .biz on the lists...it's considered worthless in most cases?
I only have one .biz- freeviagra.biz It actually gets a few type-ins, maybe 2-5 a day.
(I think it's mostly from domain name hunters)

The bottom line is that a domain is worth whatever anyone is prepared to pay for it. There are conflicting views as to the value of most extensions, but with the momentum in registrations still very strong and the fact that the East has stilll yet to make it's impact, the potential for values rising is very positive.

Dot com is still king of course, but nobody really knows what impact other developing countries (especially China) will have on the domain market.

Personally, I like a diverse portfolio

After .com:

1. .TV( this TLD is awesome, do you realize this is perhaps the most popular two-letter acronym in the world. do you know anyone that does not know what a TV is?)
2. .info(again, another term that is known worldwide)
3. Country Code TLD's (DE & CO.UK especially)
4. Others (.ws and .cc - the same, depends on useage)
5. .Name
6. aero, coop, etc are useless junk domain names
