Cannot Connect To Database

For some reason, I have been having problems with installing php scripts, then I read the article in the FAQ, that filled me in a lil, but theres this one im installing, when it installs, thers nothing wrong when connecting to the sever, but when its done installing, and I go to the index.php as it sais in the readme, THEN it sais it cant connect to the server, but it just connected when it installed itself in the sql DB. The script im installing is the cutenews news posting script, ive tried reinstalling a few times, still same problem, maybe im doing something very stupid lol, but I know what Im doing so I dont know whats the prob...

Anyone?

You just have your database settings wrong in your config.

Try searching through the cutenews support pages.
