They eventually separated the machine “calender” from the time-related “calender” by replacing the “-er” with “-ar,” an element that means “pertaining to.” As a result, you must always use “calendar” to correctly spell the word

The source above I copied from the web. I'd need "calendar" for a pass, the "e" in yours kills. I assume you're meaning the time-related one, as that's the one I'd see potential in. Spelling isn't technically right for that, hence a hard sell for me. IMO
